Project Summary
Kico is an online e-commerce mail order business offering a range of practical and fun customised giftware. The company had outgrown their existing e-commerce platform, which in turn was affecting sales.
We were initially approached by Kico to launch a new concept the ‘Customised Lap Tray’ to the marketplace. Subsequently we provided a brand reposition and new e-commerce platform that had the capability to grow in line with the Kico product line.
A fresh, fun and youthful brand was created utilising vivid bold colours with an approachable and informal style that set the brand's tone and personality.
Due to the vast array of products and functionality required by Kico we used the Magento e-commerce platform to fulfil the projects brief. We created a bespoke system specifically to work in line with Kico's brand and functional requirements.
Initially we supplied a variety of product photography and developed a series of templates that enabled the client to update their own website via Magento's CMS. This ensured continuity throughout the website.
The Result
Following the launch of the website Kico’s sales increased by a record 50%.
The Kico brand continues to grow and evolve with its primary product the ‘Kico Lap Tray’, now recognised as the market leader.
This work has led to further development of the brand and product range which is currently ongoing.
